Terms of
Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Accanto, the heart-healthy meal planning service available at accan.to, operated by Aisha Surodjawan, a sole trader based in Piedmont, Italy ("we", "us", "Accanto").

By creating an account or using Accanto, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Service

Accanto is an AI-powered meal planning application that generates personalized heart-healthy meal plans based on information you provide, including optionally your health conditions and medical documents. The service is available in English and Italian.

The meal plans are generated by artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude model) and are intended as general nutritional guidance only. Individual nutritional needs vary significantly based on medical history, medications, and personal circumstances. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not create more than one account per person or use another person's account.
• You may not use Accanto for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans and Payments

Accanto offers the following plans:

All prices are in Euros and inclusive of applicable VAT where required by Italian law.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

Refunds

If you are charged in error, or if the service is substantially unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours in a billing period, you may request a refund by contacting us at support@accan.to within 14 days of the charge. We will review and respond within 5 business days.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you accept the new price.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Accanto for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms
• Upload documents that do not belong to you or that you do not have the right to share
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of Accanto
• Use automated tools to access or scrape Accanto's content or API
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to use your account
• Upload malicious files, scripts, or content intended to harm Accanto's systems or other users
• Use Accanto in any way that could overburden or disrupt our infrastructure
• Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or access paid features without payment

5. Medical Documents and Health Information

If you choose to upload medical documents through the Full Analysis feature:

• You confirm that you have the right to share the documents you upload (e.g., they belong to you or you are acting as a legal guardian or carer with appropriate authority).
• You understand that the documents will be processed by an AI system and that the resulting meal plan is generated guidance, not medical advice.
• You understand that uploaded documents are not stored after processing and that Accanto does not build or maintain medical records.
• You accept that AI-generated meal plans based on uploaded documents may contain errors and should always be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional before being followed.

6. Intellectual Property

The Accanto name, logo, design, and all original content on the platform (excluding AI-generated meal plans and user-uploaded content) are the intellectual property of Aisha Surodjawan and are protected by Italian and EU copyright law.

The free guides ("The First 30 Days" / "I Primi 30 Giorni") are copyright © 2026 Aisha Surodjawan. They may be downloaded and shared freely for personal, non-commercial use. They may not be sold, republished commercially, or presented as your own work.

AI-generated meal plans are provided to you for your personal use. You may save, print, and share them freely for personal and family use.

7. Availability and Service Changes

We aim to provide Accanto with at least 99% monthly uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of Accanto at any time. Where changes significantly affect paid subscribers, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Accanto is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that meal plans generated by Accanto are medically accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific health situation.
• We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from following meal plans generated by Accanto.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Accanto shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply.

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at support@accan.to to resolve it informally. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Piedmont, Italy, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. On account deletion, all your personal data will be removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you materially breach these Terms, particularly regarding unlawful use, abuse of the service, or fraudulent activity. Where possible, we will notify you before taking such action.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Accanto after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the new Terms, you may close your account before they take effect.
